Model 4152

The model 4152-D instrument is intended to be used for measuring the mean diameter and shape of an opening in three cross sections along the axis of bearing inner races and also for sorting them into groups according to their mean diameter for the consecutive selective assembly.

When turning the bearing’s inner race the diameter of the opening is determined automatically as the mean of three semi-sums of the maximum and minimum values in each cross section.

Each specimen of the instrument is made to measure only one nominal value of the diameter D mm, that is stipulated when ordering, and cannot be readjusted to measure another dimension.

The instrument consists of:
An electronic unit,
Two stages for measuring inner races with or without a shoulder.

The setting up of the instrument is carried out with the aid of a reference gauge (supplied with the instrument) for all the parameters that are to be measured by a single depression of a button on the front panel of the electronic unit.

Measurement results are represented in letters and digital form on the visual display of the electronic unit..

The Indicating Snap Gauge is certified The Russian Federation State Standard Certificate No.17390-98 Registration Certificate No. MT МТ 024.99in the Branch of Industry Register of measuring means permitted to be used within the railway transport.

The software of the electronic unit enables the operator to receive:

Diagnostic messages that facilitate quick detection and elimination of faults in the instrument.
The employment of this instrument together with the indicator snap gauge model 4150M-D provides the possibility of selectively assembling the ring with the axle in a predetermined interference fit.
